  13. The paper sizes available are determined by the PPD for your printer. If DL
  14. or custom aren't listed, your PPD doesn't have them in it.

  16. We do not make PPD files---they are made by the manufacturers of printers.

  18. Many desktop printers do NOT support custom paper sizes. If you don't have
  19. custom listed, it's because your printer doesn't support it. Check your
  20. printer's manual to see what it supports. The manual for my printer says
  21. it doesn't support custom sizes, thus I don't have custom in my PPD.

  25. Sorry, we cannot do this. This is the way it works in every major DTP
  26. program and for a reason. Page
  27. Stream can only print out the paper sizes supported by your printer, and
  28. it relies on the PPD file to tell it what sizes are available. If you
  29. don't like the sizes listed in your PPD file, complain to your printer
  30. manufacturer.

  36. PS: pgs2.2 used to allow custom to every postscript printer, just like
  37. propage, but that's not legal. PageStream 3 follows the PostScript rules
  38. more closely.
